  Fire Hydrant Policy
  Only Water Authority and Fire Department Personnel, during an emergency or filling their Trucks, are permitted to operate/open Fire Hydrants in the Township. It is against the Center Township Water Authority (CTWA) Policy to fill Swimming Pools, Hot Tubs, clean roads/property, water new yards, etc. from a Hydrant. Anyone opening Hydrants and utilizing Authority water without the expressed permission of the Authority , through appropriate channels, will be in violation of Pennsylvania Law and subject to appropriate charges and sanctions. The unnecessary and improper opening of Hydrants can cause damaging effects to the water lines throughout the System as well as the obvious loss of revenue which cannot be tolerated.
